About the San Francisco Chapter of Geo-Institute (SFGI)
The San Francisco Geo-Institute (SFGI) is the local chapter of the Geo-Institute (G-I), one of eight specialty institutes within the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). We are committed to advancing the fields of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, as well as the related earth sciences, throughout the Bay Area.
Our mission is to foster a vibrant community of geo-professionals by promoting technical excellence, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
